Now, patients will never miss a beat in the places that matter to them.
Learn more about these two innovations and how they work together:
Auracast
Auracast broadcast audio is a new, state-of-the-art assistive listening technology from Bluetooth that uses the power of Bluetooth LE Audio to broadcast audio directly to hearing aids, earbuds, or headphones in public locations like airports, theaters, museums, gyms, and beyond—wherever Auracast broadcasts are available.
Bluetooth LE Audio
Bluetooth LE Audio is the next-generation connectivity standard across electronics. It is an advanced streaming protocol that enables your hearing aids to stream phone or video calls, listen to music, and adjust your hearing aids on the go—all with less battery drainage.
Auracast assistant makes it easy to join broadcasts, stay connected
With My Starkey’s Auracast assistant, Starkey hearing aid wearers can now easily join Auracast broadcasts (similarly to how you would join a Wi-Fi network).
- Stream audio easily, in more places than ever
From learning art history on an audio tour to enjoying every line of a favorite play, count on our Auracast assistant to stream available broadcasts in more and more places every day. - Hear clearly in background noise
Never miss another flight announcement or public address announcement due to background broadcasts, chatter, and ambient noise. - Enjoy audio your way
Gone is the boredom of staring at silent monitors or TVs in places like waiting rooms or gyms. Users can even listen in the language of their choice if it’s offered.
