Hosting a Successful Workshop

Many practices have used Workshop Consultation Programs to increase sales in a competitive market. With increased sales support and knowledge from our renowned laboratory consultants, you too will see benefits in hosting quarterly Workshop Consultation Programs to support your current marketing calendar. Most events average a sales volume of 20-25 units with revenue ranging between $40,000 and $60,000. We recommend 3-4 events each year per location for the best results.

Pre-Event Preparation and Marketing

For each event, you will receive a variety of event support materials, including CareCredit enrollment forms, a detailed planning checklist and a receptionist phone script to prepare your staff for promoting the event.

Your Workshop Representative will contact you prior to your event to coordinate event marketing, including:

  • Direct Mail: Choose from a variety of exclusive designs and offers that allow you to target your message for your practice.
  • Patient/Prospect Notices: Announce the event to your best patients.
  • Advertising: Begin to plan and schedule advertising for your event.
  • Exclusive Workshop Event Advertisements: Will be provided in an event preparation package, along with a media disc including your consultant's photo and newspaper files for delivery to your media representative.

A Laboratory Consultant, who will help you facilitate the event, will contact you to discuss retail price lists, optimal patient flow, equipment and preferred selling strategies. Laboratory Consultants interact weekly with our national base of hearing professionals and can help increase sales and production during your event. Your Consultant can also teach you sales techniques and share patient presentation tactics that are specifically designed for use with the workshop marketing materials.

Consumer Sales Seminar Event (CSSE)

  • Hosted by 1-3 Laboratory Consultants
  • 1-2 day seminar format with incentive provided (lunch, breakfast)
  • Same-day demo and fitting completed, or schedule the appointments into your event the same week
  • 15% event fee
  • Limited availability
