Fitting Software

  • Starkey Inspire® OS

Even the best technology requires superior software in order to achieve optimal performance. We've teamed Zōn and Destiny with Inspire OS 3.0, the industry's most intuitive programming tool, so every patient fitting experience will be accurate and engaging.

  • Key Features:

  • Hearing Loss Simulator New

Understanding the degree of a loved one's hearing loss is helpful when counseling family and friends. The new Hearing Loss Simulator provides an effective demonstration of hearing loss. This tool can be used in counseling to assist in educating patients, friends and family about the difficulties of living with a hearing loss.

  • Integrated Speech Mapping New

Inspire 3.0 now offers Integrated Speech Mapping. Accessible from virtually any screen, Speech Mapping enables you to use the International Speech Test Signal (ISTS) to verify the accuracy of your fit to a selected prescriptive target. This feature is also an excellent patient and family education tool for the purpose of illustrating how the hearing aid is processing and amplifying speech or any other input in real time.

  • Auto Path Fitting New

Auto Path is an automatic function that provides the most efficient, reliable and prescriptively appropriate initial fit in the industry. You won't even need to detect the new device — Inspire 3.0 does it for you.

  • Surround Town™

Surround Town — the breakthrough audio simulation —- is now available in an updated three-dimensional version and welcomes two new virtual scenes to its extensive repertoire. Surround town recreates dynamic sound environments to help give your patients the best fit possible in every situation.

  • Additional Features:

  • Target Match/Best Fit

The Best Fit algorithm optimally adjusts all hearing device parameters to best approximate the targets for the selected fitting formula. Best Fit also sets the adaptive features according to the patient's hearing thresholds when the feature is available for a particular circuit. Target Match is a derivative of Best Fit where bands, channels, output and threshold kneepoints are modified to match the prescriptive targets. Both Target Match and Best Fit can be applied to a single memory or all memories with the click of a button.

  • Audiometer

Inspire OS allows for in-situ Audiometry. From the Greek meaning for "in place," in-situ enables the hearing aid to generate pure tone signals for the purpose of obtaining thresholds and uncomfortable levels in dB HL.

  • Adjustment Controls

Inspire OS provides an intuitive set of adjustment controls that let the hearing professional perform basic to highly advanced adjustments on the hearing aid.

  • Active Feedback Intercept

Inspire OS works in harmony with the Zōn and Destiny products to virtually eliminate feedback.

  • Data Log

Track a hearing device's performance over time through downloadable information for ongoing analysis and even greater adjustment precision in future visits.

  • nFusion Updater

Runs in the background of Inspire and checks for new versions or updates to Inspire via the Internet. This feature enables Starkey to provide updates faster and more efficiently, and allows customers to download the newest available version without waiting for a CD update. The nFusion Updater is a "smart" update tool that only uses as much download speed as is available and remembers where it stopped if the download was interrupted for any reason.

  • Performance Updater

This new feature allows the hearing aid performance to be updated through Inspire when new versions of the firmware become available.

  • Integrated Real Ear Measurement (IREM)

Integrated Real Ear measures a patients' Real Ear to Coupler Difference (RECD) and incorporates it into the fitting system. With Integrated Real Ear, the displayed responses and Best Fit are based on the precise physical properties of the wearer's ear instead of the approximate physical properties of an "average ear."

  • Speech Mapping

Provides a visual representation of the hearing instrument output in real time. As a counseling tool Speech Mapping can be used to assist patients in better understating their hearing loss and the benefits of amplification.

  • Starkey Synchronous Interface (SSI)

The new SSI protocol in Inspire OS enables bi-synchronous communication between the software and the hearing device, making adjustments faster and simpler than ever before.

  • Voice Indicators

Provides the option of using speech, with male or female voices available in a variety of languages, to alert your patients to the status of their hearing aid: low battery, memory and telephone mode.
